Sisters of seas
When I was an art student, I was fascinated by an artist called Joel-Peter Witkin:
He created fascinating, theatrical stagings using strange characters and bodies. The whole thing was aesthetically pleasing on first reading, then created a sense of unease once you understood what the scene was composed of and what it meant.
Can we find beauty in an image or a consequence that isn't beautiful to begin with?
i imagined "Sisters of Seas:
These elegant ladies lost in the middle of a calm ocean, waiting to be rescued and trapped in their vehicles by global warming and rising sea levels.
